I have completed my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rajalakshmi Engineering College and going to pursue masters in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Symbiosis University. What I do

My Areas Of Interests

Medical imaging based Research

I am keen towards the application of artificial intelligence in medical imaging. I have worked on many research projects related to deep lerning applications in medical imaging for the development of automated diagnosis algorithms.

Website development

Using streamlit and flask development tools, I develop ML and DL based websites for various applications, healthcare of primary importance. I have developed feature based classification, regression, image classification and image segmentation wesbites and have hosted them too.

Desktop application development

Using PyQt development tool, I develop deep learning based diagnostic systems running independently on offline basis through desktop applications. I have developed applications for image classification and image segmentation tasks.

Blogging

Writing has always been my passion. Expressing my thoughts in paper and ink is always the best. I have written many blogs in different genres on both tehcnical and non-technical domains.

I did a 6-month deep learning internship from Capgemini Technology Services. My major task in my internship was about the development of 3D image segmentation algorithms for medical imaging applications. Some minor tasks include the development of 2d image segmentation algorithms for medical imaging applications. Worked with tools like Slicer 3D, SnapITK, and used development tools like nibabel, tensorflow keras, pyqt etc.

I worked as the student research head in CoE Medical Imaging. My responsibilities include assistance of medical imaging research projects (mainly A.I), conducting workshops on tech related to medical imaging, completion of funded projects, website and desktop application development, project maintenance etc. I have completed 5 medical imaging based deep learning projects and guiding 7 more projects. Have successfully published 1 paper in Web of Science, 1 pre-print in Research Square, and rest under review in peer journals. Also, i have conducted 2 workshops to my juniors on image classification and advanced optimisation techniques on CNN.

Integrated system for detection of diabetes using deep learning

Fundus imaging, thermal imaging of the foot, dermal imaging and OCT are the different imaging modalities considered for this project. The CNN algorithms were developed and trained on public datasets. The website was developed using streamlit and hosted via streamlit share.
